Rockin’ roller coaster chaos,

disorientation, upheaval,

disruptive and surreal.

Wacka-doodle, bonkers, how ever you name it, 

 Not business as usual.

Wondering what the heck is going on? What’s next? We are far from any clear cut answers. It is a complex and convoluted time. An action packed and confusing mashup of planetary cycles where security is uncertain and anything can happen. What’s next  – aliens landing from another planet? Maybe it already seems that way.

Uranus, planet of rebellion, revolution, lightning bolt of change and freedom, in the sign of Taurus since 2018.  We’re getting an intensive blast as Uranus made its final Station Direct (after being in retrograde since September 6, 2025) in the first week of February until it enters the sign of Gemini at the end of April. We are directly in the beam of social awareness, agitation and unexpected change. 

It can be abrupt.

Situations change in an instant. 

Tipping point.

We had a preview of Saturn in Aries May 24, 2025 until September 1, 2025. Now Saturn freshly in Aries on February 12, will join with Neptune at 0 degrees (The beginning of the zodiacal wheel).

Uncertainty. Unraveling. Aggression. Confusion.

Aries is the fire of courage and we all must embody the Aries fire to initiate a new beginning in our lives. Where is the Aries point in your chart?

We are at a complex and confusing juncture as this lunation is closely tied to the upcoming Saturn Neptune conjunction (exact in February 2026). Ways of life that we have taken for granted as reality are dissolving and breaking down. Collectively and individually, we are ending a cycle that began in 1989 (the last time of Saturn conjunct Neptune).

Neptune in Pisces is at a standstill, intensifying the square to this New Moon, blurring boundaries between logic and belief. Be aware of unconscious motivations. Recognize the vulnerability within yourself and others. Engage imagination rather than escapism. The puzzle pieces may be elusive.

In contrast, Saturn also squares this New Moon. Hard facts. Time pressures. Maturity. Discipline and focus.

Venus, queen of desire in generous, fun-loving and freedom-loving Sagittarius is also known for being tactless, so watch your words.

Both Jupiter square Chiron (exact on the 21st) and Neptune amplify our awareness of suffering in the world and within, How may we answer the call to engage with the healing process?

All of September is an eclipse month, opening with the Lunar Eclipse on the 7th. This whole month carries the turbulence and insecurity that often coincide with eclipses.

On the 21st, the Solar Eclipse is in the last degree of Virgo (opposite Saturn and Neptune and in a grand trine with Pluto and Uranus forming a kite configuration) which points to significant endings and karmic completion.

New beginnings may be challenged by confused ideals and reality testing and potentially supported by intuition. Penetrating insights into life’s mysteries may bring inspiration that feeds inner freedom and a sense of connectedness with the larger fabric of humanity.

Saturn and Neptune have been traveling side by side this summer as they move toward a powerful conjunction on February 20, 2026. Even now we are in their orb and this eclipse is a strong punctuation point along the way.

The qualities of Saturn and Neptune are distinctly different and difficult to synthesize.

Saturn is the voice of authority, responsibility, structure, boundaries, tradition, discipline, concentration, hard work, control, limitation, and reality.

Neptune is ethereal, dissolving, boundaryless, confusion, inspiration, intoxication, intuition, deception, illusion, imagination, and spirituality.

Neptune can be dreamy and Saturn a wet blanket. Neptune is sensitive and Saturn can be supportive. At their best, combining practicality and idealism, they denote manifesting dreams.

Mars (Scorpio) squares Pluto (Aquarius) on the 24th, already moving into place during the eclipse, this intense aspect is pushy and down-right aggressive. It gives great focus and persistence despite obstacles yet also tends towards violence. Catharsis.
