Libra Full Moon: Path of Balance

Catalyst of constellations
arouses unsolved questions
and agitates the crux of change.

The back and forth of indecision…
or pushing a point
or being pushed.
This way, that a way
pulled in every direction.

Responsibility for what is essential
is the driving core of transformation.
Rebellion challenges, disrupts, demands:
Do it a different way.

The path of balance
calls forth resourcefulness, creativity
and grace under pressure.

Each deep breath brings
the next breath.
Each moment
is followed by another.

Be courageous, be bold,

Libra Full Moon

This Full Moon in Libra supercharges the axis of the feminine and masculine qualities within us. Retrograde Venus incites us to ignite our feminine values. The retrograde began in Aries (March 1), standing with strength to defend our values. Venus entered Pisces (April 2), where we swim in the waters of the subconscious to awaken and perhaps reclaim our unheard, ignored or hidden voices. We may discover unintended sacrifices that have been made or fantasy that once seemed a reality.

Venus squares Saturn twice (April 8 and April 21) within a short period of time, which colors the span with sober considerations regarding boundaries in relationships and financial decisions.  Discontent. Restraint. Thwarted desires. Conservative values. Defining what (or who) is worthy of commitment.

When we are in touch with our desires, needs and feelings, we can acknowledge and respect ourselves. Rather than forcing circumstances, we are able to trust our integrity. Intuitive faith is our ally as we seek “relatedness” in our lives. Yes, we can deceive ourselves or be misled. We also have a choice to inquire with fresh eyes as denial or deception is revealed. Venus direct (April 15), we emerge somewhat tender and wiser. By the time Venus enters Aries (April 28), we are ready to initiate with conviction. Time to move on.

The ancient Meso-Americans timed their battles and sacrifices with the cycle of Venus we are currently experiencing. Taking this cue, we may ask –
What is worth fighting for in my life?
Is there something I must sacrifice in order to get what I want?
How may I walk my path with balance and trust my decisions and direction?
